Strong right from the start

One thing was clear from day one: Everyone needs a good set of tools. High performance, reliable and at the best price. After all, every project deserves the right equipment and every PARKSIDER deserves the success that comes with it. That is our story.

Born out of a strong conviction

What is now Europe's best-selling DIY brand began with a simple and yet strong conviction: everyone can tackle their own to-dos and repairs around the house and garden themselves. That is why we have been evolving as a DIY brand for over 25 years, in terms of design, technology and product diversity. So that nothing stands in the way of everyone doing DIY projects on their own.

1996

A name makes history

In 1996, PARKSIDE starts its business in Great Britain, and its name is inspired by the London address of the company’s former headquarters. However, tools are not on the radar yet. The company focuses on delicious crackers instead. No one has any idea about the power that lies behind this brand yet. The company is registered in Germany in the same year.

1997-1999

The first screws start turning

The first tools are still sold under the TRONIC brand. Everything changes in 1999: PARKSIDE power tools and machines come onto the market. The trademark is also officially registered in Germany for tools. A powerful era dawns and PARKSIDE's goal becomes tangible.

1999-2000
Laying the foundation

The first PARKSIDE logo resembling today's logo is released. It is colourful, energetic and full of a spirit of optimism. This first step back then became the foundation for everything that was to come. A visual identity that grows. And with it, PARKSIDE.

2001-2009

The evolution begins

With the new millennium, PARKSIDE’s look becomes powerful and focused on tools. The brand logo appears for the first time with a three-dimensional metal design. On December 17, 2007, PARKSIDE is officially registered as a trademark throughout the European Union. The logo is redesigned, laying the foundation for the image that millions of PARKSIDERS know today. At the same time, the first cordless screwdriver drill with lithium-ion technology is launched on the market.
