Perfect lawn with the PARKSIDE PERFORMANCE PPAMR 1250 A1 Smart & Free robotic lawn mower. With its intelligent camera and boundary pins, it detects obstacles and boundaries without the need for boundary wires. Thanks to additional obstacle and incline sensors, it is always safe on the move. It reliably delivers an even cut on lawns up to 1,250 m². Smart, powerful, independent – that's what lawn care looks like today.
Check out what it can do! The new model drives freely in your garden using only boundary pins. It also features PIN code protection, various area modes and other helpful features. The app gives you full access to all functions.
Familiarise yourself with the extensive range of accessories for your robotic lawnmower and find out what is included in the scope of delivery: in addition to boundary pins and a charging station, you will find path markers and other helpful tools.
Learn how to set up your robotic lawnmower's charging station in just a few steps. For a quick start, we recommend our Quick Start Guide in the supplied operating instructions.
Install the boundary pins easily and individually tailored to your garden. The tutorial shows you how to mark the entire area to be mowed so that your robotic lawnmower can orientate itself.
Use the PARKSIDE app to control your robotic mower even more easily and personally. Discover the versatile functions for tailor-made lawn care.
Once you have installed the boundary pins, you are ready to go: make the final preparations and clear your garden. Watch out for wild animals and potholes. Then your robotic lawnmower can make its first round in your garden under your supervision.
Mow separate lawn areas across paths, gravel paths or paving. Use path markings to define zones and guide your robotic lawnmower to them. This ensures that no area of the garden is left uncut. We show you how to do this in the video.
Effortlessly mow areas that are otherwise hidden under garden furniture or play equipment. Learn how to activate spot mode and let your robotic lawnmower work in a specific area or time period.
Regular maintenance and cleaning are important for perfect mowing results. The video shows you how to clean the wheels, grass combs and mowing blades and check that they are undamaged and sharp.
Your robotic lawnmower detects the lawn area, lawn edges and obstacles with the help of a camera and additional sensors. This means you don't need a boundary wire. It finds its way around all by itself.
Before using your device for the first time, prepare the working area. This will ensure a smooth start. The maximum area is 1,250 m².
Please note the following:
- Remove obstacles such as branches, stones, sticks, wires and other foreign objects.
- Fill in potholes so that the area is level.
- Avoid irrigation systems and muddy areas to prevent damage.
- Make sure the grass is no higher than 40 mm before you start.
- The area should have a maximum slope of 34% (19°).
- Narrow areas should be at least 1 m wide.
Start exploration mode directly on the device or conveniently in the PARKSIDE app. Your robotic lawnmower will then automatically explore your garden and drive along the boundaries. It uses its camera to recognise the entire working area. Once your robotic lawnmower is back in its charging station, the exploration is complete. Your mowing area is now saved.
Our tip: If you interrupt exploration mode, simply place your robotic lawnmower back in the charging station and restart the process.
That's no problem. You can easily connect the separate areas. Use path markings to determine how your robotic lawnmower moves from one area to the next. This allows it to automatically recognise where the individual zones are and mow them one after the other. You can connect up to four zones. It is important that the transition between the areas is level. This is the only way your robotic lawnmower can drive over it without any problems.
Your robotic lawnmower can automatically trim the edge of the lawn. You can choose between three distances: 15 cm, 20 cm or 25 cm. Important: You may only use the 15 cm setting if the transition from the lawn to the adjacent area is flat and level. This also applies to the "Edge mowing" function.Your robotic lawnmower will drive directly along the edge of the lawn, ensuring a particularly clean and even cut.
This is usually very easy to solve:
- First, check that the charging station is set up correctly according to the instructions.
- Then check that the QR code is clean and clearly visible. If it is covered or dirty, the camera will not be able to recognise it properly.
- If necessary, carefully clean the camera and the QR code. Everything should now work perfectly again.
Wipe the lens with a soft, dry cloth and remove any dirt, grass or dust. Make sure to clean the camera on your robotic lawnmower regularly. This is the only way to ensure that it can reliably and correctly recognise its surroundings.
In automatic schedule mode, you can flexibly set when your robotic lawnmower is active. You can set up to 10 mowing times per day individually. You can also include automatic edge mowing directly in the schedule. This way, your robotic lawnmower takes care of both regular lawn care and clean cutting of the lawn edges on its own.
The 20 V battery solar charging station is the perfect addition to your robotic lawn mower. Charge any model in your garden in an environmentally friendly and sustainable way using solar energy. This ensures that your robotic lawn mower is always ready to go!
